Welcome to Rainbow
We are a small children’s nursery offering care and education to children 2 to 5 year olds. Based in Kentish Town, on the border between Camden and Islington, our nursery is housed in a spacious church hall with access to a beautiful outside space where children play each day, and are given the opportunity to explore and grow during these vital years of their development.
We offer a rich choice of activities and experiences that engage and challenge children including cooking each day
We think the outdoors is very important to children’s learning and development and offer forest school activities
We provide a safe, fun and fulfilling experience for children. We think creativity is as important as literacy and maths
Adults at Rainbow respond sensitively and consistently to children’s needs so that they feel safe, relaxed and cared for
Books and storytelling are at the heart of what we do
We support children to make decisions, take risks and try things out so that they develop confidence in their abilities
We provide children with a strong foundation for school learning
We recognize the uniqueness of every family and develop each child’s sense of belonging and place in our community
