> When can my child be put on the waiting list?

Children can be placed on the waiting list from birth.

> How flexible are attendance days?

Rainbow Nursery cannot guarantee to provide the exact days requested although every effort is made to accommodate individual requirements.

We are flexible about attendance patterns to accommodate the needs of individual children and families, providing these do not disrupt the pattern of continuity in the setting that provides stability for all the children. Children are asked to attend a minimum booking pattern of 2 full days or 4 half days which must include a Monday or Friday.

> Do you accomdate children with disabilities?

We welcome children and or parents with special needs/disabilities. We try to accommodate their needs in order that they can participate fully in the setting.

> Do you offer financial support?

When possible, we offer a subsidised place to families in financial need.

> How long will my child have to be on the waiting list?

In the event that there are more applications than places available, priority is given under Rainbow’s admission criteria as follows:

  1. A child of one of the members of staff at Rainbow Nursery,

  2. A child who currently has or had a sibling attending Rainbow.

  3. A child who has been on the waiting list longest.
